XOA 0315- Beginning Trail Building

This foundational course is designed for new and experienced trail workers and serves as an introduction to sustainable, multi-use trail design and crew leadership. Participants will learn and apply basic trail maintenance skills through field-based activities and learn the fundamentals of volunteer management.
Date and Time: June 7, June 14 & June 21: 8 am-4 pm
Location: Classes will take place on local Forest Service trails. Instructor will contact students with meeting locations. Participants will be required to provide their own boots, gloves, long pants, and lunch. Tools and hard hats will be provided.
